A huge shout out to Steve and the team @ All Parts WA for finding the parts I needed for my '94 Isuzu truck. They had the parts for me within 48 hours. Timed perfectly for me to do some maintenance on the truck during a gap in removal jobs. All I heard from Major Motors was "ex east" or "not available in Australia or Japan".

After 4 days the old girl is so much better now with the play removed out of the steering and the overall smoothness of the ride improved. Front wheels stripped down to axles, cleaned, new bearings and seals, & fresh hub oil. Along with new drag link and tie rod ends. Checked the wheel alignment, didn't need to adjust it. There is a satisfaction to fixing your own truck.

Going on Christine's recommendation, I was asked to move a spa yesterday. Spa delivered safe and sound. Here we are only 24 hours later, paving has been laid nice and level, spa is on the paving, filled and running. This client doesn't mess about. Well done 👏 Enjoy those therapeutic bubbles. Yes I'm jealous 😉

When you are on a 3-4 hour drive between Northam and Jurien Bay, you get a chance to take in a few sights along the way. One of which was an Emu with half a dozen chick's, foraging along the edge of the road. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get a photo of them. But I did manage to snap
- magnificent old school architecture at the Edmund Rice College in Bindoon
- huge piles of dirt from the mining (that look far more impressive in person, the photo doesn't do it justice)
- Emu Downs wind farm
- Emu Downs solar farm (they are REALLY serious about their solar power. Literally fields of panels)

I had a mammoth job over the last 2 days, moving a family of 6 from Jurien Bay to Northam. My offsider Bruce even brought his trailer along on the second day to avoid a 3rd trip being necessary.
When I asked Jennifer if she was going to miss the ocean... "No, I never really went to the beach. I grew up in the hills and can't wait to go back to the hills"

On Sunday, Shane asked me to move some items from Northam to Wooroloo. There wasn't enough to warrant using the truck so took care of it with the 4wd and trailer, making it cheaper for him as well. I wish I had of taken some photos. The handmade solid wood slab dining table, plus 3 smaller tables, are absolutely stunning pieces. Truly a credit to his mate Geoff who made them. Not to mention the pot stand garden art made in the style of a bicycle. You would swear you could hop on it and go for a ride. I'm jealous Shane, enjoy.

Cheryl was up for her 3rd move in 10 months but couldn't face doing it herself again, so called me in to take care of it...

Cheryl was up for her 3rd move in 10 months but couldn't face doing it herself again, so called me in to take care of it yesterday. . Duidgee Park in Toodyay was the perfect spot to stop for some lunch after loading the truck.

Top marks to Allana and hubby Tim who did an amazing job to have everything ready for the move. The Toodyay property was getting too much for them to look after so they decided to move to the city to be closer to their children and grandchildren. Enjoy Allana and Tim 🙂
