Last week, our leadership team celebrated Sandra Reid – as she attended the finals at the Women in Industry Awards - a well-deserved recognition of her outstanding work as a safety advocate.

Moments like these are a powerful reminder of the incredible impact women have across our business. At CDC NSW, women play a vital role in shaping the future of the bus industry - leading innovation, championing safety, strengthening our communities, and inspiring the next generation to join our workforce.

Being recognised in an industry that has traditionally been male-dominated makes this achievement even more significant. It reflects not only Sandra’s dedication and leadership, but also the growing presence and influence of women across transport.

We are proud to stand behind and celebrate the women of CDC NSW - today and every day - and to continue building a more inclusive, diverse and forward-thinking industry.

Congratulations again, Sandra -

Last week our Region 14 teams came together at our Mt Kuring-Gai and Terrey Hills depots to celebrate an incredible achievement – a customer satisfaction level above 90%, as measured by a Transport for NSW customer survey.

The occasion was marked with pizza, coffee and a well-deserved moment to reflect on the hard work behind the result. This milestone is a testament to the dedication of our drivers, whose commitment to delivering great customer service and supporting their local communities makes a difference every day.

A big thank you to everyone involved - this is something to be truly proud of.

From early starts to responding to unexpected challenges, their skill, dedication and pride in their work keep our services moving and our passengers safe.

Thank you to all of our mechanics for everything you do - we appreciate you.

At CDC NSW, we are proud to partner with our local community organisations- and it doesn’t get much better than our collaboration with the Northern Hawks Rugby League Club in the Hunter region.

Last weekend, our bus drivers Melanie and Gus had the pleasure of transporting the rugby team to their Central Coast game in our custom designed anti-social behaviour buses. These buses aren’t just about getting from A to B- they are a mobile billboard with an important message.

This initiative is a joint collaboration between CDC NSW and the Northern Hawks, showcasing the shared values of respect and community. The bold visuals and messaging highlight the importance of treating each other with respect-on the field, on the bus, and in our wider community.

We are proud to support local sport while helping to drive positive behaviour across the communities we serve.

World Environment Day - Only One Earth

Every journey we take leaves an impact. By choosing public transport, you are helping reduce congestion, lower emissions, and create cleaner, more sustainable communities for future generations.

A single bus can take dozens of cars off the road, making a real difference every day.

Small changes in how we travel can make a big difference to the future of our planet. Are you ready to make a difference?

CDC NSW was proud to sponsor and be part of today’s Blacktown City Council Reconciliation event, joining the community to reflect, learn and celebrate together.

This year’s National Reconciliation Week theme, “All In,” is a powerful reminder that reconciliation is a shared responsibility- one that calls on all of us to step forward, listen, and take meaningful action every day.

Thank you to everyone involved for creating such a meaningful and inclusive event. We are honoured to support initiatives that strengthen connection, understanding and respect within our communities.
