And new fare structure “maximum fare for rank and hail passengers”
Changes are:
Flag fare $3.60 to $5.00 up $1.40
Km rate first 12km $2.29 to $2.56 up 27cents per km, after 12km same old cost.

*32% less wheelchair taxis since pre pandemic levels

*Australian’s lowest ‘pickup bonus’ with promised 100% increase august 2023, still not implemented

*purchase cost of WAT vehicle pre pandemic has doubled to up to $110,000 for new vehicle.

*normal taxis costs in fuel lowering from new (hybrid/EV) none for WAT

*plate costs for normal taxis dropping to same as WAT means no incentive to put on WAT vehicles.
