Projects Completed
1. Greater Dhaka Power Distribution Project – Phase III
Hawker Siddely Power Engineering Co., Ltd., UK : (1992)
Contract was awarded for Shipping, Customs Clearance, Transportation and delivery of project cargo to job site at various Sub-Stations
around Dhaka city. The contract was for 15,000FRT of project cargo including sixty heavy lifts.
2. 2nd Gas Treatment Plant at Kailashtila, Sylhet: (1993)
Press Construction Ltd., UK
Shipping, Customs Clearance and Transportation of 7,000FRT of project cargo including twenty heavy lifts.
3. Bangladesh Oxygen Ltd.: (1994)
Shipping, Transportation and delivery of two 60 feet long and 20 feet wide storage tanks to their job site, each weighing 30 MT.
4. Ashuganj to Habiganj (54 Km) Gas Pipeline Project: (2001)
Summit Daging JV. Transportation and delivery of LPE coated as well as concrete coated 30” dia steel pipes weighing 3.5MT & 8.7MT
each alongside the trench on the right of way.
5. Ashuganj to Bakhrabad (58 Km) Gas Pipeline Project: (1996)
McConnell Dowell Constructors (Aust) Pty. Shipping, transportation and delivery of 30,000MT RCC coated steel pipes to job site, each pipe weighing 6.5MT,
12m in length and 762mm in diameter from Kuantan Port, Malaysia and subsequent delivery to job site at Ashuganj. Also arranged Customs Clearance and transportation of 10,000FRT of Contractor’s equipments, machinery and project
materials which includes towing of 2 x 2,000 Tons foreign barges from Chittagong Port to Ashuganj.
6. Italy A/C: Fochi Energia, Italy: (1994)
Transportation from Mongla Port to job site at Sylhet of 300 Ton American Hoist Crawler Crane. The single piece was 108 Ton in weight.
7. Cairn Energy PLC (UK): (1995)
In conjunction with our Joint Venture Partner Bahr Projects Ltd.,(UK) we loaded the rig at Xingag, China, brought to Chittagong
Dry Dock in a chartered vessel. After offloading the rig and its ancillaries, we first moved the rig to to Semutang at Chittagong
Hill Tracts where Cairn Energy did few drilling. Thereafter, we demobilized the rig and brought it to Halda Valley at
Chittagong-Kaptai Highway where Cairn Energy had four drills.
8. Jamuna Rail Link Project: (1997)
Samwhan Corporation, Korea
Customs Clearance and Transportation of 4,322 MT Re-Bars from Chittagong Port to jobsite at Elenga and Kaliakoir by rail & Road.
9. Beanibazar to Kailashtila Gas Pipeline Project: (1998)
Punj Lloyd (Malaysia) Sdn. Transportation of 10,000 meters of 20” dia steel pipes from Petrobangla stack yard at Brahmanbaria and Madhabpur to Kailashtila and
Beanibazar by rail and road,
10. Fenchuganj 150MW CCPP Project – BPDB: (2006)
Harbin Power Engg. Co, China
Delivery of 2 nos GE 6B engines and gensets and placement of the same onto foundations , along with a total 30,000 frt of
other cargoes to job site at Fenchuganj, sylhet.
11.Bhola 35MW Power Plant - Sinha Power: (2008)
Delivery of one GE 6B engine and a generator to the plant site in the remote place of Bhola and placement onto foundations. There were also about 7,000 FRT of plant cargoes.
12. Bheramara 110MW Power Plant – Quantum Power: (2010)
Delivery of 14 engines, each weighing in between 105 MT & 120 MT to job site at Bheramara and placement of them onto foundations
at a height of 4 meters. We introduced a hydraulic platform to lift the engines to 4 meter height and winched them to their respective
foundations to a maximum distance of 120 meters. There were other project cargoes of 15,000 FRT.
13. Noapara 105MW Power Plant - Quantum Power: (2010)
Delivery of 13 engines, all between 110 MT and 120 MT to job site at Noapara and placement of them onto foundations at a height of
4.5 meters, we also delivered about 15,000 FRT of project cargoes to job site.
14. Kathakhali 50 MW Power Plant – ENA Power: (2011)
As a sub-contractor to ILA Project services, we delivered 6 nos of Wartsila engines to plant site at Katakhali, Rajshahi. The barges were brought up to Bagabari river ghat where the engines were lifted by 600 ton barge crane,loaded onto
trailers and taken to job site. Then they were placed onto foundations.
15. Kathakhali 50 MW Power Plant – BPDB: (2011)
Dong Feng Engineering, China
A similar operation, like above, also 6 engines – each 140 MT, but no barge crane was used for lifting. A manual cum
electro-mechanical process was used to offload the engines and load trailers. Trailers were then taken to site to offload
the engines and place onto foundations.
16. Chandpur 150 mw power plant – BPDB, China Chengda: (2010)
Delivered GE Frame 9E Engine weighing 205 Ton and generator weighing 197 Ton to job site at Chandpur. Also delivered 9 pcs of HRSG Modules having length of 25 m, weight ranging from 90 to 140 Ton along with
20,000 FRT of other cargo.
