📌 ACTU – Sosny (Bélarus) : la cabine uPod presque terminée

D'après UST Inc. (28/10/2026), l'assemblage de l'uPod U5-54220-01 touche à sa fin à l'usine SW Plant. Les panneaux en polycarbonate foncé sont posés, l'isolation thermique et acoustique du plafond est faite, le câblage est presque fini. Prochaine étape : des tests d'étanchéité sous pluie artificielle.

Ce véhicule transportera les hôtes du sanatorium « Sosny » jusqu'au centre thermal voisin.

According to UST Inc. (28 Oct 2026), assembly of the U5-54220-01 uPod is nearing completion at the SW Plant facility. The dark polycarbonate panels are installed, the ceiling has thermal and acoustic insulation, and wiring is almost done. Next step: watertightness tests in a rain-testing machine.

The vehicle will carry Sosny Sanatorium guests to the nearby spa complex.

Selon un article d’UST Inc. du 21/10/2026, environ 300 000 véhicules entrent chaque jour à Almaty (Kazakhstan) et le trajet Kaskelen–Almaty (environ 20 km) peut prendre près de deux heures. Les autorités prévoient d’élargir la route (de 4 à 8 voies sur 8 km, 33,9 milliards de tenges selon le département régional des routes).

UST Inc. propose à la place une ligne en hauteur : un viaduc à câble-rail semi-rigide à double voie de 11,9 km entre Kaskelen et le secteur du marché Barlyk, avec 4 gares (dont Almalybak et Bulakty) et des uBus Karat U4-212 de 50 places sans conducteur. Estimation de l’entreprise : trajet Kaskelen–Almaty en 11,6 minutes, à environ 70 km/h de moyenne.

According to a UST Inc. article dated 21 Oct 2026, about 300,000 vehicles enter Almaty (Kazakhstan) every day, and the ~20 km trip from Kaskelen can take around two hours. The authorities plan to widen the road (from 4 to 8 lanes over 8 km, 33.9 billion tenge according to the regional roads department).

UST Inc. proposes an elevated alternative instead: an 11.9 km double-track semi-rigid string rail overpass between Kaskelen and the Barlyk market area, with 4 stations (including Almalybak and Bulakty) and driverless 50-seat uBus Karat U4-212 vehicles. Company estimate: Kaskelen–Almaty in 11.6 minutes, at an average of about 70 km/h.

Une équipe de l’émission « [Не]Фантастика » (« [Non] Science-fiction »), diffusée sur la chaîne de télévision MIR, s’est rendue à l’EcoTechnoPark d’UST à Maryina Horka (Biélorussie), selon un article d’UST Inc. du 13/10/2026.

Anatoli Unitsky, concepteur général d’UST Inc., y retrace l’évolution du transport par câble-rail, des premiers prototypes aux systèmes uST exploités aujourd’hui. A film crew from “Not Science Fiction” (“[Не]Фантастика”), a programme aired on MIR TV, visited UST’s EcoTechnoPark in Maryina Horka (Belarus), according to a UST Inc. article dated 13 Oct 2026.

Anatoli Unitsky, General Designer of UST Inc., walks viewers through the evolution of string transport, from the earliest designs to today’s operational uST systems. The report also shows the U4-362 uFlash, a prototype of a high-speed passenger uPod; Viktor Garakh, Deputy General Designer, explains its design and aerodynamics. The journalists also tried uST transport themselves.
