It is with great sadness that we report the sudden death of Roger Mylle at the age of 80, founder of the Mydibel group.
Roger started as a trader in potatoes and founded the Mydibel group (in 1988) - specialized in the processing of potato products. Under his inspiration, Mydibel has grown into an important player in its sector with more than 300,000 tons of end product, 4 production plants, a green factory and a distinct actor of vertical integration and sustainability. Mydibel is processing potatoes into cut products, specialties, flakes and granulates and also generates biogas and organic fertilizer.
Roger was a source of creativity, innovation and inspiration, he has taught many a lot and has handled the fruits of his labour wisely.
He was justifiably proud that some 10 years ago he was very successful in handing over his company to his two sons, Bruno and Carlo.
Roger enjoyed his old age and, among other things, the pigeon sport, in which he also became a household name.
Roger leaves behind his life companion, both sons and their wives and 4 grandchildren.
We are grateful and cherish him for his many achievements and his life's work, which has since grown into the largest employer in the Mouscron region.
