It was an honour to be acknowledged with Tourism Burlington's Ambassador Award for 2021. We will be forever grateful for our Burlington Taxi community that spanned two generations.💛

As we come to the end of 2022, we’re looking back at some of our biggest and brightest events of the year. The 2022 Business Excellence Awards was the first major in-person event for the Chamber. After celebrating virtually for 2 years, it was amazing to see members from our community come out in support of some incredible Burlington Businesses at our Oscar’s-style celebration.

It was an honour to present "50 Years of Burlington Taxi" to The Burlington Historical Society. With heartfelt thanks to Alan Harrington and his team, for going out of their way to help us celebrate Burlington Taxi's history and acknowledge it's place in Burlington's history.

As we prepare to launch Socks for Hope 2022, we want to thank Burlington Taxi for taking the lead and fostering our incredible giving community.

Over the last eight years, Burlington Taxi’s Socks for Hope team developed relationships with over 45 businesses, churches, fire stations, police stations, schools, students, organizations and friends – all coming together to donate socks, host sock boxes, and volunteer to help people experiencing homelessness and hardship.

We will be forever grateful to Burlington Taxi and will continue to warm the feet of friends in need, in their honour.💛

Pick-up by The Angel Project ✅

Thank you and family 💛 for picking up 2 car-loads of socks!!

A total of 2,452 pairs of socks will go directly to longterm complex care patients throughout Ontario.
Patients who have MS, ALS, other critical illnesses along with patients who have been in serious accidents.

Many of these patients spend decades in hospitals and will never go home. Many of these patients do not have visitors 🥲

A pair of fresh, cozy socks is a gift of care, warmth and says you are not alone 💛 It is a small gesture with a big heart!

With sincere gratitude to our community for helping us stay connected to these special friends in need.

Yesterday, Socks For Hope donated 2500 pairs of new socks to the Compassion Society of Halton.

This incredible organization provides access to food, clothing and community resources to vulnerable individuals and we at Burlington Taxi, are honoured to continue to support with our hands and our hearts. 💛🧦
