A big thank you to the BBB Alberta & East Kootenay in Calgary for inviting Checker to be part of your grand opening, IGNITE, yesterday. It was a wonderful event with genuine people, meaningful conversations, valuable connections, inspiring speeches and delicious food😋😋.

We enjoyed the opportunity to meet so many passionate individuals who care about supporting local businesses and strengthening Calgary’s business community. Thank you for the warm welcome and for bringing everyone together for such a memorable occasion.

****CONTEST ALERT****
WIN FLAMES VS. AVALANCHE TICKETS WITH CHECKER CABS.
Thanksgiving is coming and “I’m grateful I’m not hosting” is a perfectly acceptable answer.

We’re giving away corporate tickets to see the Calgary Flames take on the Colorado Avalanche on October 8 and we want a little Thanksgiving spirit in the comments.

To enter, tell us what you’re grateful for. Got a hockey buddy in mind? Share this post (IG - turn into a story) with them or tag who you’d take to the game for an extra entry.

We’ll pick a winner at random on October 6, giving you time to sort your plans and notice which friends suddenly start being extra nice to you. It’s the Flames’ last season at the Dome, so let’s make a few more Saddledome memories together.

From the incredible food and beverages to the entertainment and inspiring speeches, it was an absolutely dynamic evening filled with energy, celebration and stellar company. We were honoured to be part of such a memorable night.

We spend all year making our yellow cabs easy to spot, then Calgary’s trees go and copy the colour scheme. It’s the first day of autumn, and we’re blending right in with the golden leaves across the city. Whether you’re heading to your favourite park or just across town, book through the Checker app and enjoy the view while we do the driving.
