Montana Governor lifts HOS rules for carriers actively involved in transporting propane, heating oil, and diesel fuel to prevent a shortage of propane and heating oil for residents. This order was declared after the state declared a state of emergency due to harsh winter weather.

The executive order was declared in order to prevent a shortage of heating oil.

TRAVEL ADVISORY NOTICE - NORTH DAKOTA

The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) and the North Dakota Highway Patrol have LIFTED the No Travel Advisory for portions of eastern North Dakota including the cities of Lakota, Grand Forks, Cooperstown and surrounding areas.

A No Travel Advisory remains in effect for northeastern North Dakota due to blowing and drifting snow creating near zero visibility and hazardous driving conditions. Cities included are Drayton, Pembina, Cavalier and surrounding areas. Motorists in these areas should not travel in this area. ​
