5 TON TRUCK DRIVERS
Parkland Courier and Logistics is the reliable and economical solution for total freight movement. We are a family-owned company known for our incredible customer service, and now we are looking for new additions to our tight-knit team.
We are looking for reliable drivers who are able to work Monday thru Friday with flexibility. You will be driving a 5 ton with air brakes.
• GENERAL FREIGHT DELIVERY EXPERIENCE IS A MUST
Main responsibilities:
• Pick and Drop freight
• Lumping
• Daily scheduled runs
Key Skills:
• Knowledge of the City of Edmonton and surrounding area
• Organization
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Requirements:
• Valid Class 5 license
• Proper PPE
• Clean 3-year Commercial Drivers abstract - NO DUI or Distracted Driver infractions. Please submit with resume if possible.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs. and to maneuver up to 150 lbs.
• Power tail gate and pallet jack experience necessary
• Delivery Experience required
• 3 Years consecutive experience driving a 5 Ton

Warehouse Shipper/Receiver & Forklift Operator

Job Description

We are in need of someone reliable, who can work flexible hours as workloads vary by day.

Key Responsibilities

- Sunday to Thursday Shift

- Part Time to Full Time, Flexible Hours

- Shifts to include late afternoon to late evening, and graveyard shift.

· Unload/Load trucks (Forklift, Hand bomb, dolly, or pallet jack)

· Making Detailed receiving report.

· Assist drivers and Warehouse personnel with order retrieval

Requirements:

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· Forklift Certificate is a MUST

· Minimum 2 years experience on forklift.

· Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

· Proper PPE

· Valid Class 5 driver’s license.

· Must have an excellent memory and attention to details.

· Warehouse Experience

· Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.

TRANSPORTATION SAFETY SUPERVISOR
Duties will include:
• Advise on provisions to minimize safety risks
• Develop and enforce OSH policies (e.g. accident reporting process)
• Direct accident investigation procedures
• Keep records of safety-related incidents and propose corrective actions
• Organize and conduct OSH training plans
• Collaborate with managers to monitor compliance and identify safety issues
• Intervene in unsafe activities or operations
• Liaise with and report to official regulatory bodies on OSH matters
• Maintain all NSC files.
• Orientate and train new employees
• Maintain all driver files
Requirements:
• A minimum of 3 years experience as a transportation safety coordinator or something similar.
• In-depth knowledge of OSH guidelines and practices
• Experience in reporting and developing policies
• Experience in implementing OSH training programs
• Experience with DOT practises and regulations
• Experience with e-logs and DVIR
• Knowledge of GPS tracking programs
• Class 1/3 license preferred
• Proficient in MS Office
• Excellent communication and advisory skills
• Attention to detail
