Hello Everyone,
Today, I am announcing that this will be my last day of free community grocery distribution.
My journey in this community service began nine months ago with a phone call from someone in dire need of food. That moment deeply affected me, and I felt compelled to give back to a community that has given me so much. I started this initiative using my own resources, along with the support of a few dedicated volunteers.
What began as a small effort has now grown into a meaningful movement, serving hundreds of people every week. I am truly grateful for the love and support this initiative has received.
However, it is deeply disheartening to see these efforts being misinterpreted as a means of evading taxes through charity. I want to clearly state that I have never used this initiative for personal or financial gain. I remain open and transparent, and I welcome anyone who wishes to review and reconcile my accounts. If anyone can demonstrate otherwise, I am willing to offer a $5,000 reward in addition to covering reasonable professional bookkeeping costs.
I would also like to sincerely apologize if anyone was hurt or inconvenienced at any point during these distribution drives. Every effort was made with the sole intention of serving humanity and supporting the community. If any actions fell short, I truly regret that.
At this point, I feel it is best to step away from this initiative. That said, my doors will always remain open to those in genuine need.
Lastly, I would like to thank the entire Innisfail community for their trust, kindness, and support. This has been a truly fulfilling and meaningful journey.
