Construction of the new Doon Station is expected to begin this month! Located near Conestoga College in Parking Lot 5 off Doon Valley Drive, the new station will be a modern, accessible transit facility that will make connections easier and improve the overall customer experience.

Today the Province of Ontario announced $3.4 million through the Ontario Transit Investment Fund for transit in the Region of Waterloo's four townships starting in 2027.

The funding will go toward new fixed routes in Wellesley and North Dumfries, improvements to existing service on Routes 21, 77 and 79, and new on-demand transit zones in Wellesley and North Dumfries.
