NOW vs. 5 years ago !

Dear everyone,

As some of you may have heard, Nakusp Taxi is under new ownership !

Over the last five years, we went from 1 baby & 1 vehicle to 2 of each, and from newbies asking for "the exact address" to simply referencing "whose house/ neighbour is it" and (sometimes obscure) local landmarks 😃

We have strived to give folks safe & comfortable rides (though some, but thankfully not many, have simply taken us for a ride) through over a hundred thousand kilometres of service, sometimes even in "family configuration".

We have immensely enjoyed the jokes, the treats, the insights and connection, the friendship, warmth, and the occasional group outing. Most of all, we have enjoyed being of service in this wonderful community we call home.

It's been five fun years that have flown by but the time has come for us to pass this little venture on. The phone number, hours of service and coverage will remain the same, with new drivers, apps & options slowly being added on for your convenience.

We would like to thank you all for your wonderful support over the last five years, and wish the new owners all the best in their future endeavors.

Good morning, everyone !

Hope your first day of Fall is off to a good start.

Facebook has prompted us to look back on where we started and how it's been going so far.

**Please note that we will be closed from the morning of September 30th until the morning of October 5th, our vehicles are getting winterized**

Great news, everyone !

In partnership with Save On, Nakusp Taxi is working hard to make your grocery shopping more convenient.

All you have to do is download the free Save On app, create and pay for your order, then contact us with the pick-up time and we'll deliver to your door.

Delivery fees are $10 in town, $15 up the hill to Brouse area, around $20 to Crescent, and around $25 to Bayview.

We are looking forward to serving you soon.

Season's Greetings, one and all 🎄

We are delighted to announce a new family has joined our family-business efforts : please welcome the shining SHANE & SHELLEY QUIST to our beloved quaint town.

They are experienced drivers and come to us with extensive (medical) transportation background and taxi experience.

We are excited to have them be a part of our community. Please join us in giving them a big warm welcome !

We are pleased to announce that Nakusp Taxi has secured an exclusive deal with Santa in exchange for donations to the local Food Bank !

Santa has agreed to trade his open sleigh for our taxi on Saturday December 5th and Sunday December 6th, and stop by the homes of good boys and girls for a quick picture.

Santa will abide by COVID protocols and wear gloves and a face shield, for everyone's safety. His elves will email pictures to each recipient the week after.

Fellow Nakuspians,

The HUT (x4655), Paddy Shack (x3255), Chumley's (x3331), and the Tasty Times Vegan Eatery are open for take-out food orders.

Save-On, Hilltop & Valley Foods, PharmaChoice, the BC Liquor Store (until 6pm), and the Leland (anytime) are also open for your needs.

The other retail stores - Dollar Dollar Bon Marche, Treasure Trove, General Store, and Touch of Fashion - are all open as well.

Whatever you need, we can deliver, so you can remain safe /safely inside, and shop local. Please give us a call to see how we can help !
