Full day!!

Had a blast today hauling 5th wheels all over the Island. Some tight spots, beautiful scenery, amazing customers, everyone were all smiles, mission accomplished.

This particular transaction has been an adventure. 🤔

Customer reached out to us approx 3 weeks ago stating she was looking to buy a trailer on or around Vancouver Island and have it transported to Gibsons, BC. Sure, lets do it. 👍

She asked if we do pre-purchase inspections and we said yes. So, we were first scheduled to look at a unit on Gabriola. The seller claimed "mint", I came back with, "what, kidding right?". It was junk. Sadly, my customer was set on it, but now she had to continue her search. 🫣

She found the perfect unit, on Hornby Island. So, I was scheduled to take 4 ferries to go look at it. This one wasn't claimed to be mint, but other than some minor delamination on drivers rear corner, it was as mint as a 2008 teailer could be. So, lets buy. 👌

A week later after it was paid for, it was picked up, (another 4 ferries), and brought to a storage spot in Nanaimo so the customer could move her items into it. 💪

We returned a few days later early in the morning to start the trek over to Gibsons, (another 4 ferries). However, we got merely a few hundred feet from the storage yard and blew a tire, (and the spare was flat). So, using a transfer hose I stole some air from a truck tire, and got it switched quickly to make our ferry. 👏

In the end the trailer was delivered to its final spot and leveled, (definitely need to take more pics and videos). After 3 weeks, many many ferries, a few inspections, we got it all done. 😎🤙

5:00am start, which is the norm these days. Picked up a travel trailer in Nanoose that the customer wanted brought up to Woss. 😎

After completing that successfully, we headed back south to Duncan and picked up a gorgeous 38ft 5th wheel for a young couple and brought to Great Central Lake on the West Side of Port Alberni. Amazing spot. Successful and was even offered to pop by sometime with the wife for dinner as the lady is a professional chef, perks of the job. 🤙

Fitting in more maintenance.

Last week we changed a motor mount that decided to unfuse itself while towing a heavy load on the Heavy Chevy, so we changed that. Same day we decided to change out the transfer case fluid to Lucas synthetic, (only the best).

This morning while waiting on the Denman to Hornby ferry to start running again, we changed out the rear differential fluid with Lucas heavy duty synthetic fluid.

We are always making sure our trucks are ready for the next task. Our expectation of perfection today is your smooth transport tomorrow.

Another long day on the Pacific Ocean. 🛳

The customer of this newly purchased 1965 Mustang reached out to us asking if we could bring it from Victoria to Burnaby. We of course said sure and put him on the schedule. However, he needed it right away. He stated that this car is his wife's dream car, but there was a catch. It needed to be right away, and on a day when they were at the cancer clinic so it could be delivered when she was not home. Customer stated she has limited time left and was hoping he could spend one last summer with her cruising with the top down..... This one was definitely important and emotional. 😥

I was all alone at the pickup location. I was told of a hidden key that would access the garage. Was told to go down beside the house, through 3 gates, 2 with codes, (which I was also given), all to access the Mustang. Opened the garage door, opened the driveway gates, found the hidden key to the car, she fired instantly, no gas pedal given, 289 came to life without hesitation. 🤙

Loaded her up, and headed to the ferry, (tight for time so I left the top down until I got to ferry). Started to sprinkle as I got to the ferry, at which point the powered top came to life. 🌦 🙌

Once in Burnaby, I was able to unload, get it positioned exactly as the customer requested, a quick wipe down, and left before they got home. Within about 30 mins of delivery, the customer called me and thanked me, with a crackle to his voice. The emotion in his words was thanks enough. He may be buying another for them to cruise to summer shows together, of which he said we're his first choice of transport providers, for which, we are grateful. 🙏

Money makes the world go round, sure. It dictates most things in our lives. But at the end of the day, we need life in order for the money, or joys that it can bring, to affect us. It took devastation to finally "live" how one has always dreamed of. Makes me wonder why we live all our lives with the notion of "maybe someday", for it to most likely be never until its too late. 😔

Morgan Freeman said it best in "Shawshank Redemption". Get busy living, or get busy dying. ❤

Customer satisfaction above all else 💯

Customer from Gibsons, BC purchased a travel trailer in Cowichan Bay, BC and needed it transported. No problem. Picked up the night before delivery, brought back to our yard and left at 4:30am the next morning.

After 4 ferries on 2 major routes, 5.5hrs on the water and even more time waiting, we delivered their trailer to its final resting spot. Arrival back to our office at approx 9:00pm. Long day, but the smiles make every moment worth it.

They are on the hunt for a second, nicer, newer unit and we told them we would assist in the search and transport. 👍

Quick transport of this little Kubota yesterday.

Customer was looking to get his tractor in Errington to his sister's house in Qualicum to do some maintenance. We were happy to assist. Easy load/offload and we both were on our ways. Supporting locals, building relationships and making smiles.
