Hi Everyone so as most already know. Midway now has new owners Cheryl and Darren. My dad Gomer no longer runs the stand. And i no longer drive taxi anymore. Soo blessed to meet all the amazing people i met in the 4 yrs i drove taxi for Midway. I will be deleting this page and will up to the new owners if they decide they want a page. Thank you all. Hey everyone,unfortunately this ice storm has taken down our phone lines. We are currently waiting for seaside to fix them. If you are trying to call a taxi we truly apologize for the inconvenience. I will make another post when they are up and running again. Thank you all and stay safe

I am pleased to announce that with phase 2 starting tomorrow, Midway Taxi will be extending our hours of operation. Starting tomorrow, June 16th, we will be open Monday- Thursday until Midnight, Friday and Saturday until 2am and Sunday until 10 pm.
Our hours will change again as we enter Stage 3, 4 and 5. I appreciate all of your loyalty from our customers.Let's all hope we keep moving forward in a positive way. Keep staying safe everyone.

Hey everyone. We are still looking for a couple drivers. We are excited to have another women driver coming on board next week. But we are still looking for a couple more. Its soo easy to get your taxi license now since the covid. There is no written test or road test! You need a medical completed by a doctor and you take that into access Nova Scotia and you get your class 4 :) then all you need is police check and clean drivers abstract. Good way to make some extra spending money especially with Christmas around the corner! Have a great day everyone. Please share!!!

Hey everyone we just wanted to make a post after a long 4 months our amazing dispatcher,The BEST one ever. Will be back this Thursday. Sooo excited to have RANDY back. I'm sure all the customers will be very excited too. :) Thank you to all our loyal and amazing customers :)

Hey everyone hope everyone is staying safe. Midway is now open on sundays until 8 pm. And as of this Tuesday we will now be open until 10 pm instead of 8pm. Thank you all for your loyalty and understanding :)

Hey everyone hope everyone is staying safe. From this point on until we are in the clear for the covid19 for the safety of our drivers and passengers there will be only 1 passenger in the taxi at a time. Also Tomorrow good Friday and easter sunday. The stand will be open from 7-1:30 hope everyone has a great Easter and stay safe. Thank you .

I, Jim Petrie, owner of Midway Taxi has shut down our backshift due to the pandemic.
We will still be open from 7 days a week from 7 am until 8 pm. This may possibly change as well. One thing is certain, we will be open as long as it is safe to do so.
