JOB OPPORTUNITY
Equipment Operator — Seasonal Position

Hales Excavation & Trucking Ltd. is looking for an experienced Equipment Operator to join our team for the upcoming season.

Responsibilities
*Safely and efficiently operate an 8-tonne excavator, skid steer, and other equipment
*Assist with septic system installation and related site work
*Perform regular greasing, inspections, and routine maintenance on equipment being operated
*Keep equipment clean and in good working condition
*Perform manual labour as required
*Follow instructions from supervisors and work effectively as part of a team
*Maintain a safe, clean, and organized worksite

Qualifications
*Previous experience operating excavators and skid steers
*Septic installation experience is considered an asset
*Knowledge of equipment maintenance and safe operating practices
*Ability to take direction and follow instructions
*Reliable, punctual, and dependable
*Strong work ethic and attention to detail
*Valid driver's licence
*Physically capable of performing manual labour as required

Due to growing demands we're looking for the right candidate to fill the position of:
Position- 310T Mechanic (no apprentices at this time)
Wages - to be determined based on experience and qualifications.
Benefits package available, company uniforms supplied and will guarantee up too 40 hrs / wk.
Applicants must be able to work in a team environment and take directions from our fully licensed and experienced shop manager.
Applicants must have own tools, specialized tools are supplied already in shop.
Applicants must keep a clean work area.
We offer a new heated shop and a family oriented working environment.
Our work consists of but not limited too, our own fleet maintenance and diagnosis as well as public customers.

And we're off to a busy start this spring!
Lots being done!

Belly dumping numerous township roads around the area. New septic systems being installed, cottage road and parking lot grading, fertilizer hauled out of ports in Ontario and Quebec for our farmers.

The garden depot has been hustling with lots of deliveries and loading trailers in the yard of organic garden soil, mulch and river stone aswell.

And our fleet and auto division has been absolutely swamped this spring getting many seasonal fleets back up and running for the season.

Special thanks to all of our team. Very proud of what we do and couldn't do it without them.
