Hearing this from carriers multiple times a day now...

In the past month due to the COVID restrictions, we lost approx. 25% of our fleet with drivers not having their 2nd vaccination shots. We are getting fully booked for outbound freight by early Tuesday morning. (Already booked up to 25% for the next week is now normal). It is the same for inbound freight as well. Due to the restrictions as imposed, available trucks have also been reduced 20 - 30%. The longer these restrictions last, the harder it will be to find an available truck. We have many customers that are in the same boat where if a carrier is not booked by early Tuesday, the shipment (FTL or LTL) may not go out until the following week. We are reduced to only so many available drivers. Can not do it at all with the limited drivers we have...
