After decades of providing commuter services to the Cochrane community—most recently under the On it brand and previously under the Southland brand since 1994—we have made the difficult decision to discontinue this service.
- The service to/from Brentwood will end as of June 1st, 2026, with the last day of service on May 29th.
- The service to/from Downtown Calgary will end as of July 1st, with the last day of service on June 30th.
Unused tickets will be refunded. For the Brentwood service, these will be refunded between June 1st and 12th. For the Downtown service, these will be refunded between July 1st and 12th. Actual refund timelines are subject to payment method and associated processing times. If you have not received a refund within the applicable dates, please contact [email protected].
The decision is a result of several factors. With an aging fleet of motor coaches, combined with significant increases in operating costs over the past several years, there are no economically viable options available to replace these buses while maintaining affordable ticket prices. Additionally, ridership on these routes is insufficient to cover current operating costs. Therefore, this service model is no longer sustainable.
We appreciate and thank all of you for your support and business over the years, and we sincerely regret that we can no longer provide this service.
