Stryder was proud to take part in the opening ceremony of the first segment of the SR 167 Expressway, marking an important step forward for freight moving through the Port of Tacoma corridor.

The new Expressway connection provides a more direct route between I-5 and the port, helping improve freight mobility and provide a more efficient path for haulers between marine terminals, distribution centers, and markets across the region.

Our team was represented at the event alongside state and local officials, with Stryder USA's VP of Operations Brandon Beetham speaking during the ceremony. One of our drayage trucks had the honor of being the first vehicle to "cut the ribbon" on the new road!

We are happy to have been present for this exciting day!
