Dropped off a wonderful customer at Wain Park today and noticed something surprising.

The pickleball courts that replaced the old baseball diamond have now been removed, and the site is currently sitting empty while the planned community gathering space has yet to be built.

It’s amazing how much our local parks can change over the years. Whether you supported the courts or not, it’s certainly a different view than what was there just a short time ago.

One of the perks of driving local taxi is seeing what’s new around town. It’s always great to see new businesses choosing Sidney and filling storefronts on Beacon Avenue. Every new business brings a little more energy, creates local jobs, and gives us another reason to shop close to home.
