We would like to send a big shout out to all drivers and dispatchers who sacrificed their New Year’s Eve to make sure everyone got home safe. These are hard working individuals and deserve some credit 👏

We would also like to thank all our loyal customers who have continued to your support to the little people. We may not have a fancy app like Uber but we’re a small family that is striving to be the best family owned business! Thank you all for your support.

Everyone enjoy your New Year’s Day! I drove last night, and I know there are going to be a couple hangovers today!

Just ask at the time of booking what it will be and that's all you'll pay.. NO hidden fees or extra costs!

No trip will be over $15 within spruce grove
No trip will be over $10 within stony plain
Each stop only $5!

Some of rates will be

$70 to rogers place
$45 to West Edmonton Mall

I’d like to send out the biggest appreciation post. This weekend of weather, I’m sure you can relate, has been a nightmare. I can barely walk from the door to my car. Yet we have drivers and dispatchers who have been working tirelessly, without complaining (well to me anyways) and in these temperatures. The drivers have ensured the cold to ensure the cars will start and be warm and safe for our customers. They have helped with groceries helped with luggage, helped people get inside on the slippery sidewalks all in this bitterly cold weather where most of us say tbG we aren’t leaving our houses in.

Our dispatchers have dealt with the hundreds of phone calls, breaking the news that there would be a bit of a wait and eveything else in between.

Normally dennis and I would be right behind everyone helping answer the phones, cleaning up trips etc but this year we had to travel out of town for my papas funeral, leaving eveything in everyone else’s hands.

So the next time you see you a taxi driver or you call for a taxi thank them. The job isn’t easy and the cold isn’t fun. They work long hours in this kind of weather and don’t ever get the recognition they deserve.

So to the staff at spruce grove taxi from the bottom of our hearts. Thank you for everything you have done and all of your hard work. We couldn’t do any of this without you.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe, courteous and reliable transportation services to customers. This includes picking up passengers from designated locations, following the most efficient routes, assisting with, well, anything! And providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate must have a valid Class 4 driver's license (or a willingness and ability to quickly obtain),

Owner/Operators must have valid and appropriate insurance

Responsibilities:

Possess a valid class 4 driver's license and be able to drive safely.
Be knowledgeable of the city streets and routes in the Spruce Grove, Stony Plain and surrounding communities.
Be able to communicate effectively with customers.
Be able to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Maintain the cleanliness of your vehicle.
Follow all traffic laws and regulations.
Have the ability to navigate the company dispatch app from your own mobile device.

We are looking for friendly, personable drivers to represent our brand as you take customers to their destinations, take calls from dispatch and record any vehicle issues or incidents. A Class 4 (preferred) or a Class 1 or a clean Class 5 (will help with training to get Class 4) and lots of driving experience is preferred.

Requirements;

*Valid driver's license and clean driving record
*Clear criminal check
*Understanding of traffic patterns and safe driving practices
*Basic math skills
*Friendly, personable demeanour
