Tobins Drop Yard and Layover Services We offer commercial trucking drop yard services only 2km from the Marine Atlantic Ferry Terminal

For our customers, we offer a designated parking area for drivers to park their trucks for overnight stays. The yard is monitored by a high-end camera security system and is well lit during the night with regular security patrols. There is only one way in and out of the drop yard, part of the yard is fenced which holds 50 units and we are currently expanding the yard to add parking for an addition

al 100 units. Snow removal, salting and sanding is completed quickly after a snow storm. Services available include:
1) Snow removal from the roofs of trailers, the landing gear, and the 5th wheel plate enabling the drivers to have quick and easy access to the units after a snow fall.
2) Temperature sensitive cargo can be monitored and reefer units can be serviced as needed.

Just putting this out there for folks stuck in North Sydney. We are 2 kms from the terminal. Fully fenced in yard, lots of room for manuouvering. 500 yards off highway and only 10 per day per unit. Please feel free to reach out to us . Thank you

Well ,well well. Definitely record breaking load for our yard. Absolutely massive crusher weighing over 70 tons and almost 120 feet long just came in this morning. Huge shout to Ian and JCS for thinking of us. I have to add this. Ian manoeuvred this load through our gates like a true pro. Absolutely exceptional driving skills. WTG Ian.
