We are Hiring Customer service representatives for the Car Rental office
As a Car Rental Agent, you will be responsible for:
- Welcome all customers as they arrive in the office
- Qualifying and processing customer rentals with accuracy and detail
- Process returns, check-ins, and replacement transactions
- Responding to customer inquiries, providing directions in a courteous and expeditious manner
- Take incoming calls- reservations, rate quotes, general questions and answers, provide information and resolution for customers, insurance companies, dealerships, repair shops and other vendors
- Perform various administrative and basic accounting functions such as invoice payments, key logs, run miscellaneous reports, supply maintenance, process customer billing
- Adhering to all company policies and procedures.
- Monitoring fleet availability for reservations and walk-ins
- Clean and prepare cars between rentals, including but not limited to cleaning interiors and exteriors, transporting vehicles for maintenance, and checking fluid levels when needed
- Complete a service alert for any mechanical and or body damage discovered or communicated by the customers
- Related duties as required
Experience and Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be at least 21 years old
- High School Diploma or above required
- Prior customer service, retail, or administrative support experience an asset
- Must be authorized to work in Canada
- No drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record (DWI/DUI) in past 5 years
- Must have a valid driver's license with no more than two chargeable moving violations or accidents within the last three years.
- Must be willing to adhere to company dress code
- Ability to work 40 hours for full-time hires and 20 Hours for part-time hires per week, including day and/or evening hours
- Basic computer navigation skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
