After 20 years of exceptional service and leadership as our CEO, John Wilson will be stepping down from his role to take on an exciting new opportunity as the incoming CEO of the Greater Victoria Chamber of Commerce.
While we are saddened to see John leave our day-to-day operations, we are incredibly proud of this well-deserved next chapter. His dedication, vision, and unwavering commitment have been instrumental in shaping our organization into what it is today. Under his leadership, we have grown stronger, more innovative, and more connected to the communities we serve. John has always been passionate about fostering local business and economic development, making this new role a natural next step in his journey. As CEO of the Greater Victoria Chamber of Commerce, he will continue to be a strong advocate for businesses and a champion for our region’s economic growth and resilience.
Please know that this organization remains in exceptionally capable hands as the third generation continues to lead their family business into the future. Steps are already underway to ensure a smooth and thoughtful transition as John exists his role as CEO. As the owner of the company, he will remain President and Chairman of the Board.

⭐ Past Chair John Wilson named new CEO of the Greater Victoria Chamber of Commerce
The Board of Directors has selected John Wilson to become The Chamber’s next CEO, effective July 15.
Wilson is a familiar name in business circles as CEO of the Wilson's Group of Companies, as well as Past Chair of The Chamber Board of Directors. Wilson will take over from current Chamber CEO Bruce Williams, who announced he was moving on from the role in December.
“I’m humbled to be offered this position, and grateful for the opportunity to serve our community by continuing my work with The Chamber,” Wilson said. “This is an organization that aligns with the values I’ve always brought to business. I want to thank Bruce Williams for his amazing tenure and recognize him for his extraordinary job raising the profile of The Chamber. I won’t try to fill his shoes, but I will carry on his success, and I look forward to doing my part to realize the vision of our amazing volunteer Board of Directors.”
