BC Ferries Connector is excited to announce expanded departures and the earliest launch of its summer schedule in company history, giving travelers even more flexibility and convenience for the busy travel season ahead. Despite the upcoming closure of the bus depot at 721 Douglas Street, the BC Ferries Connector service is ready to ramp up departures for the summer season, with tickets available at www.bcfconnector.com, as well as through industry partners like Destination Greater Victoria’s Visitor Centre and coming soon, enabling ticket sales directly through drivers.
Beginning March 16th, BC Ferries Connector will introduce additional daily departures between Vancouver and Victoria. Buses will continue to utilize the same location at 721 Douglas Street. The move comes in response to strong demand from both international visitors and local travellers eager to explore British Columbia’s most iconic destinations in downtown Victoria.
“We’re excited to kick off our summer schedule earlier than ever,” said Travis Wilson, Chief Operating Officer. “These changes provide our guests with greater flexibility and more opportunities to seamlessly connect between Vancouver and Victoria during peak season. With exciting upcoming events in Vancouver, including the FIFA World Cup, Rugby 7s and upcoming major concerts including Bruno Mars, Noah Kahan, Hilary Duff and The Black Keys it's a great time to try the option of travelling to Vancouver without a car in tow."
