Please click on link below and raise you voice in City of Winnipeg – Municipal Government for the following issue -
- There is no law against the passengers who don't pay the fare.
- There is no law which protects driver if assaulted by passenger.
- Drivers face racisms comments from passengers.
- No increase in taxi base fare as inflation and gas prices are going up.
- There is no Federal law which forces business to accept digital currency and City of Winnipeg – Municipal Government should not do over-rule to this.
- There should be $2 extra/per fare for drivers who work overnight.
- Like Uber passengers should be charged $50 fine if drink or spill food inside cab.
- There should be over loading charges. (Some people this taxi is another Uhaul truck service)
- There should be no-back lane policy.
- If not feeling safe, driver should have right no letting the passenger board in taxi or leave his/her taxi. Otherwise passenger subjected to charged as trespasser.
- All the assault, abuse and racisms complaints should be handled by Winnipeg Police.
- Executive board members should be changed every year and no member can be in board for more than 3 Years.
- There should be no fee to pickup the customers from Airport
- Customers should also be able to hire taxi on hourly basis. (There will be flat charge for it)
- There should be no-show charges (Same as Uber)
- There should be extra charges on special events (Same as Uber)
- Driver should be in contact with parents/guardians while providing transportation to minors
- City of Winnipeg – Municipal Government should cover $10 for homeless people in Winter so that can get to shelters
- Taxi drivers should provide free face masks funded by City of Winnipeg.
