What a week in Morzine!
We kicked things off with heavy snowfall right down into town, followed by those dreamy blue skies on Saturday. Yes, it rained back to Morzine level afterwards, but the snow hasn’t fully disappeared - and up in Avoriaz and the higher Pleney, the snow levels are epic.
Over the last couple of days it’s been snowing on and off in town again, building a great early-season base. The piste bashers are already out doing their magic, and Avoriaz has confirmed a partial opening this weekend (plus some Swiss areas of the Portes du Soleil!). Morzine is aiming to open one week early too - which would be amazing.
This winter, we’re going to do our best to bring you honest, up-to-date snow reports, so stay tuned.
We can’t wait for the season ahead and, whenever you visit, we’ll make sure you have a brilliant time on the snow.
