We’re not sharing this for sympathy — far from it and this isn’t every day. We’re sharing it because this is the reality of trying something new as a small, independent business and we thank all of you who do visit us, it means a lot!

Just a quick update from us at PGM.
We’re still here and working as hard as ever — we just don’t have as much time these days to keep our page updated regularly because we’re busy doing what we do best: serving our customers.
As many of you know, there have been quite a few changes over recent years, with some drivers retiring, new drivers joining the team, and a few health challenges along the way. However, none of this has affected the day-to-day running of PGM, and we’re continuing to provide the reliable service our customers expect.
We are always pleased to welcome both existing and new customers.
We’re proud to have some of the best local taxi reviews on Google, and we’d love for you to take a look. If you’ve travelled with us and would like to leave a review, we’d be very grateful. We receive positive feedback every day, but we’ve never wanted to pressure our customers into leaving reviews.

I have thought long and hard about sharing this since March, when I was told that my breast cancer — which had been in remission since 2014 — may have returned. On 5th May 26 I was diagnosed with Stage 4 recurrent metastatic breast cancer, which has also spread to other areas. Although they have told me there is no cure, I started treatment two weeks ago, which has the potential to keep the cancer under control, often for many years.
So, while this isn’t the path I expected to be on, I now just need to focus on the treatment, and making the most of every day. ❤️ June xx

We hope to continue with the taxis as normal, other than my time off for hospital appointments. Since losing Allan to retirement a couple of months ago, we do now have cover for Friday and Saturday evenings again.
