We’re looking for a reliable, professional Class 2 driver to join our team at A M Bracewell Transport Ltd!

We’re a family-run mainland UK haulier, delivering to a wide variety of locations and customers across the country. If you enjoy variety in your working week and seeing different places, this could be the role for you!

We can be flexible with nights out, from a minimum of 2 per week through to full tramping.

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their wagon, looks after our customers and puts safety first. In return, you’ll be part of a friendly, experienced team with a proud family transport heritage.

🚛 We’re Hiring: Transport Planner 🚛
📍 Based in Accrington | 🕒 Full-Time. Salary Based on Experience.

A M Bracewell Transport is more than just a haulage company. We’re a fourth-generation, family-run business with over 200 years of history in transport. We specialise in bespoke haulage solutions, multi-drop deliveries, and same-day services across the UK.

Now, we’re looking for a Transport Planner to join our team — someone who doesn’t just want a job, but wants to be part of the A M Bracewell family.

💼 About the Role
This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment where adaptability, teamwork, and problem-solving are key. You’ll be responsible for:
✅ Planning daily schedules and multi-drop routes
✅ Supporting and coordinating with drivers
✅ Keeping customers updated with a can-do attitude
✅ Overseeing loading to ensure safe, efficient deliveries
✅ Ensuring compliance with driver hours and legislation

👤 What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in transport planning/logistics
Strong UK geographical knowledge
Understanding of groupage and maximising loads
Knowledge of driver hours, tachograph rules & compliance
A real team player with strong communication skills
Calm under pressure, solutions-focused, and adaptable
(Forklift licence and/or HGV Class 2 desirable but not essential)

Get stuck in — whether it’s solving a tricky route or helping with loading

🕒 Working Hours
Monday to Friday, core hours between 07:30 – Finish
Rotating shifts to be introduced (Early, Normal, Late) to support operations

We’re a family-run HGV haulage business looking for a Part-Time Administrator to join our busy office team.

📅 Hours: Monday – Friday, 27.5 hours per week (flexible – to be discussed at interview)
💷 Pay: National Minimum Wage

What you’ll be doing:
✔️ Scheduling vehicle maintenance & keeping records up to date
✔️ Recording delivery paperwork ready for invoicing
✔️ Scanning and filing paperwork
✔️ Checking driver timesheets
✔️ General office admin & customer support

What we’re looking for:
💻 Organised and confident with IT
📞 Friendly and good at communication
🚚 Experience in transport/admin useful (but not essential!)
