As part of our continued expansion, we are seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Driver’s to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview
We are looking for skilled HGV Class 1 Driver’s (Category C+E) to operate our articulated vehicles for transporting goods across the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining vehicle safety standards, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
• Transport Goods: Safely transport goods to various locations across the UK, ensuring compliance with delivery schedules and customer requirements.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily vehicle inspections and keep your vehicle in top working condition.
• Loading & Unloading: Assist with the loading and unloading of goods when required, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
• Compliance & Safety: Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, maintaining a clean driving record and practicing safe driving at all times.
• Customer Interaction: Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients and representing the company professionally.
Qualifications & Experience
• License: Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) driving license with CPC certification.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of proven experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with UK road networks and traffic regulations.
• Technical Skills: Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and safety checks.
Working Hours
• Hours: Minimum 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
• Flexibility: Overtime and weekend work when required.
• Nights out: Average three per week.
