🚜 WE'RE HIRING – FORKLIFT DRIVER 🚜

📍 Location: Ballymena Depot
🕒 Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent

TST Group is looking for an experienced Forklift Driver to join our busy Distribution Team at our Ballymena Depot.

If you have experience operating a forklift and working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, we'd love to hear from you!

What You'll Be Doing:

✅ Operating forklifts safely and efficiently
✅ Loading and unloading vehicles
✅ Assisting with goods inwards and outwards

What We're Looking For:

✔ Previous forklift driving experience (Double Toes Desirable)
✔ Good teamwork and communication skills
✔ Reliable and motivated attitude

Working Hours:

📅 Monday to Saturday - 8am - 6pm
📅 1 Saturday in every 3 worked on a rota basis

As our team expands, our fleet grows, and our customers rely on us more than ever, we've improved our communications. It is very easy to rely on email, but more often than not, conversation is more powerful, inclusive, and effective. Email is not always the best way to stay connected as a team.

So, we made a small change that’s had a big impact.

Every morning, for about 15 minutes, our managers come together - some in person, some on video - for a quick catch-up on the last 24 hours. Nothing overly formal. Just a chance to share what’s been happening: the good, the challenging, and the moments that make you laugh (and there are always a few of those).

What’s come from it has been brilliant.

🚀Better understanding between departments.
🚀Quicker problem solving.
🚀More ideas, more collaboration, and a stronger sense that everyone’s pulling in the same direction.

It turns out that a short conversation can do what a long email chain often can’t.

A big nod to NI Operations Director Gary for getting this up and running, and to Karen and Marie for keeping the weekly briefings sharp and everyone on their toes.

That said, we still feel there’s room for improvement.

Specifically… more cake (especially on a Friday)
