⚠️ Road Maintenance – Weycock Cross Roundabout ⚠️

We will be carrying out essential road maintenance works on Weycock Cross Roundabout from Monday 13th January 🚧 🚗

To improve road safety, we will be installing a splitter island on the Western arm of the roundabout, as well as carrying out additional essential maintenance works to the area.

The above works are anticipated to last for 4 weeks, and are currently programmed to be completed as follows:
✨ Monday 13th – Wednesday 15th January – 6pm – midnight (Traffic Lights)
✨ Thursday 16th – Friday 7th February – 7.30am - 4.30pm (Lane Closure)
✨ Monday 10th – 14th February – 6pm - midnight (Traffic Lights)

❗ Please note that a certain level of disruption is expected during this time due to the nature of the works.

However, every effort will be made by our Highways Maintenance Team to keep any disruption to a minimum.

Due to Storm Darragh, the Met Office has issued a red weather warning. Therefore, we have had to make the unfortunate decision that Cardiff Airport’s runway will be closed between 3am and 11am on Saturday 7 December 2024. This is to ensure the safety of our customers, colleagues and partners, which is our number one priority. Passengers due to fly this weekend are advised to contact their airline or tour operator.
Passengers booked on the Santa’s Lapland or Transun flights will be contacted directly by their tour operator.
