Today, one of our 61-seat Executive Class coaches visited the historic Merville Battery near Caen as part of day two of a fascinating cultural and educational tour of Normandy.

The Merville Battery played a crucial role during the D-Day landings of 6 June 1944. Identified as a major threat to Allied forces landing on Sword Beach, it was famously assaulted by British airborne troops from the 9th Parachute Battalion in the early hours of D-Day. Despite being heavily outnumbered and facing significant challenges, the battalion successfully captured the battery in one of the most remarkable actions of the Normandy campaign.

Throughout the tour, our group continues to explore the battlefields, memorials and historic sites that tell the story of the liberation of Europe, gaining a deeper understanding of the courage, sacrifice and determination shown by those who served.

Travelling by coach allows groups to comfortably connect these important locations, bringing history to life while reflecting on the events that shaped our world.

After an overnight journey and a crew change, one of our executive coaches is safely on its way across the Channel this morning as another remembrance tour begins.

Over the coming days, our group will explore the historic battlefields of Belgium, visiting sites where so many made the ultimate sacrifice during the First World War. These tours provide an opportunity not only to learn about our shared history but also to pause, reflect and pay our respects to those who gave so much for the freedoms we enjoy today.

We wish our passengers a memorable and thought-provoking trip as they walk in the footsteps of history and remember the courage, sacrifice and resilience of a generation that shaped the world we know today.

One of our 51-seat executive class coaches has been enjoying a wonderful day touring the beautiful Garden of England, with visits to two of the South Eastโ€™s finest historic gardens.

First stop was Great Dixter House and Gardens, the former home of renowned gardener and writer Christopher Lloyd. Great Dixter is internationally celebrated for its innovative planting schemes, colourful borders, and influential approach to horticulture. The stunning gardens blend traditional English gardening with bold, creative designs, making it a must-visit destination for garden enthusiasts from around the world.

The tour then continued to Pashley Manor Gardens, an award-winning 11-acre garden surrounding a beautiful Tudor manor house. Famous for its seasonal displays, herbaceous borders, rose gardens, water features and impressive tulip displays in spring, Pashley Manor offers visitors a peaceful and quintessentially English garden experience.

Travelling by coach is one of the best ways to explore destinations such as these. Guests can sit back, relax and enjoy the picturesque countryside of Kent and Sussex without the stress of driving, parking or navigating unfamiliar roads. It also provides the opportunity to travel together, share the experience with friends, and make the most of the day while taking in some of Englandโ€™s most beautiful landscapes and gardens.

One of our 51-seat Executive Class coaches is currently touring across the West Midlands, taking in some of the regionโ€™s most popular attractions with our American visitors.

Todayโ€™s itinerary included a visit to the magnificent Warwick Castle, one of Englandโ€™s most historic and best-preserved medieval castles. Originally built by William the Conqueror in 1068 following the Norman invasion, the castle played a key role in defending the Midlands for centuries. Its impressive towers, battlements and rich history offer visitors a fascinating insight into medieval life, warfare and the power struggles that helped shape England.

After exploring Warwick, the tour now continues into the South West of England before our guests begin their journey home to America on Wednesday.

We hope they continue to enjoy discovering the history, heritage and scenery that make Britain such a fantastic destination to visit. ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

One of our 61-seat Executive Class coaches has just completed two back-to-back remembrance tours to Belgium and France, visiting the historic battlefields of Ypres and the Somme.

Across the two tours, our passengers spent four full days exploring some of the most significant sites of the First World War, paying their respects to those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Visits included many of the regionโ€™s cemeteries, memorials, museums and battlefields, helping to keep the stories and memories of those who served alive for future generations.

These tours are always a privilege to be involved in, providing safe, comfortable travel while allowing groups the opportunity to reflect, learn and remember at locations that played such an important role in our history.

A huge thank you to our drivers and tour organisers for ensuring both tours ran smoothly from start to finish.

Our 61-seat Executive Class coach had only just returned from its previous tour last night before being fully cleaned inside and out, refuelled, prepared, and sent straight back on the road this morning for another remembrance tour to Belgium.

Over the next few days, our group will visit some of the most significant sites connected to the sacrifices made during the First World War, including Essex Farm Cemetery, Bard Cottage, Tyne Cot Cemetery and the New Zealand Memorial at Messines, before concluding the day with a visit to St Martinโ€™s Cathedral.

These tours provide a powerful opportunity to learn about the history of the Ypres Salient, remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice, and ensure their stories continue to be passed on to future generations.

Lest We Forget.

Day 2 tomorrow!

One of our 61-seat Executive Class coaches is currently away on the first of two back-to-back annual trips to Ypres with supporters of West Ham United and former players, paying their respects to those who made the ultimate sacrifice during the World Wars.

Ypres holds a special place in history, having been at the centre of some of the fiercest fighting on the Western Front. Visits to the battlefields, cemeteries and memorials provide an opportunity to remember the bravery, sacrifice and resilience of those who fought for future generations.

We are proud to once again be entrusted with transporting this group on such an important and meaningful journey of remembrance.
