Match report

1st team started their season with the long journey to Oakworth. Being put into bat by the opposition, Mount made 134 with Anees Rawat top scoring with 47. Oakworth made Mount worry in the second innings but regular wickets kept Mount just ahead of the game with Ismail taking 5/36. The skipper ran out the final man resulting in Mount to win by 7 runs

2nd teams game had to be called off against Illingworth St Mary’s as the pitch has not recovered from the rainfall

3rd team travelled to Blackley and battered first. Hamzah Shaikh gave a great platform for the team with 49 but they couldn’t make the most of it and were bowled out for 98. Blackley in reply made easy work of it and chased it with 7 wickets remaining

The women XI played and even though they lost, major improvement across the game is definitely being seen
