What’s In The Yard? Episode 2 🎬 👀

After throwing one of our technicians in front of the camera last time, we thought it was only fair to put a couple of the sales team under the spotlight too.

This week, Craig and Jerome take us around not one, but two brand-new Broshuis power-steered step extenders. Between them, they've spent years helping customers find the right trailer for the job, so who better to show us what these machines are all about?

As always, there was no script, no rehearsals, and no second takes. Just two salesmen, a camera, and a couple of impressive trailers straight from the yard.

The challenge remains the same: pick a trailer, hand over the mic, and see what happens.

Meet Clive. 👋

60 years in the trailer game, and still stealing the work pens.

Clive is a JHT legend. As one of our longest-serving team members, he’s built relationships with customers that span decades, and still shows up every day to keep them happy (and bother the sales team from home).

Role: Top salesman, don’t let him tell you otherwise.

Typical day: Struggling into his hi-vis, keeping his long-standing customers happy, and launching the occasional projectile at Craig in the yard.

Favourite part of the job: The relationships. Customers he’s known for decades, and a team he’d do anything for.

Outside of work: Lifelong Spurs fan, and proud family man.

We don’t use the word legend lightly. Here’s to Clive. 🙌

There’s no such thing as a “one size fits all” trailer in specialist transport... The right setup always depends on the job.🚛

A power steer trailer may be the best option for tight access routes and difficult manoeuvring. An extender trailer could be better suited to long loads, while a low loader might be the right choice for heavy machinery and lower transport heights.

Every movement brings different challenges, which is why choosing the correct trailer matters just as much as planning the route itself.

So… which setup would you choose for the job? 👀
