We are the North East’s local low emission taxi provider based in Blyth servicing Northumberland, Newcastle and the North of Tyne area for over 30 years. Phoenix was the first taxi firm in the UK to put Nissan’s LEAF on as a taxi. The LEAF emits no carbon during journeys, and there is no negative impact on the environment whatsoever whilst the car is running. As electric vehicle pioneers, we’ve ma

naged to cut our carbon footprint as well as support business owners to do the same. Over the years we have dramatically increased our fleet size without compromising our environmental commitment. We purchase vehicles new and consider CO2 emissions as an integral factor in deciding whether to add a vehicle to our fleet - we are only interested in progressive vehicular technologies, efficient in terms of both fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.

For the next few weeks, everyone will suddenly become international football experts and the 'it's coming home' chat will well and truly kick in (3-0 last night probably helped here!!). 😅

The World Cup starts tonight with Mexico vs South Africa at 8pm.

If you're heading to the Comrades, Masons, Waterloo (or anywhere else for that matter!) to watch the match, Phoenix has you covered.

We'll be on hand to pick up designated driver duties throughout the tournament!
