You don’t pay a premium price for a premium vehicle.

The fare on the meter is set by Boston Borough Council, meaning you can travel in this high-quality executive Mercedes and pay the same metered fare as you would in a much lower-spec taxi.

No executive surcharge.
No premium vehicle fee.
Just a better standard of taxi for the same metered fare.

This Mercedes is the first of a planned purchase of Mercedes vehicles that we'll be introducing to the fleet as we continue investing in the quality of our service.

We are blessed that thanks to the systems we have in place, our team can operate remotely from home, meaning we can continue taking bookings, dispatching vehicles and keeping our taxis moving without disruption to our service.

🚕Two brand new 26 plate wheelchair accessible vans added to the fleet! 🚕

We are excited to today add another two new wheelchair accessible vehicles to the Acorn Taxis Fleet.

These two bring our total of wheelchair accessible vehicles to an incredible total of 50!

We are proud to be the only company offering this number of accessible vehicles and be able to provide this service to the people of Boston 24 hours a day 7 days a week. With smart uniformed drivers trained to safely transport passengers in wheelchairs available all day everyday.

We continue to invest heavily in our wheelchair accessible vehicles as we believe accessible transport should not be difficult to find, or only be available at certain times of day.
