Exciting opportunity! SKD Group are currently recruiting HGV 1 drivers to work from our Highbridge Depot on a 4 on 4 off rota basis, rotating over 7 days.

We provide a traction service to a prestigious blue chip company. Your main duties will include completing store deliveries throughout the Southwest of England and Wales. We are only seeking professional drivers, with a clear focus on delivering excellent customer service at all times.

Nights = £32,804.00 per annum
Days = £30,107.00 per annum

We are currently looking for a class 1 night driver out of Bridgwater

The position involves:
Loading/unloading of vehicle.
Dealing with customers face to face.
Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customers’ expectations.

Personal Attributes:
Must have a CE (Class 1) Licence.
Hold a current UK DCPC Card and UK Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
Experience of Curtain side trailers is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
Be passionate about providing excellent customer service.
Working to deadlines.
Confident, polite and a team player.
Good geographical knowledge.
Due to the nature of the role applicants must be fit, flexible, hardworking and self-motivated.
