Four Towns and Vale Link Community Transport is an approved provider of Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme Training (MiDAS).

MiDAS is a nationally recognised training and assessment scheme for minibus drivers in the voluntary and not-for-profit sectors. The MiDAS scheme is administered nationally by the Community Transport Association.

There are two levels of training, the standard assessment and the accessible assessment.

The Standard Assessment provides information on passenger safety, child passenger safety, defensive driving, accident and emergency procedures and the responsibilities of a minibus driver.

The Accessibility module is a compulsory requirement for drivers who intend to carry passengers with mobility difficulties, for example wheelchair user
s and those that might need to use the wheelchair lift to access the minibus.
