Hitch a Ride – Minibus Arrival Terms and Conditions
1. Flight Arrival and Grace Period
Hitch a Ride provides a complimentary grace period of 40 minutes from the confirmed flight landing time. This period allows passengers sufficient time to disembark, collect luggage, and proceed through the airport.
2. Waiting Time Charges
If passengers are not ready for collection within the 40-minute grace period, additional waiting time will be charged at a rate of £10 per every 15 minutes (or part thereof) thereafter. These charges must be settled before or at the time of drop-off unless otherwise agreed.
3. Flight Delays
We monitor flight arrivals where possible. However, it is the passenger’s responsibility to inform Hitch a Ride of any significant delays or changes to arrival times as soon as possible.
4. Customs and Baggage Delays
Hitch a Ride is not responsible for delays caused by customs inspections, including checks related to overloaded or non-compliant baggage. Such delays fall outside our control and may result in additional waiting time charges as outlined above.
5. Passenger Responsibility
Passengers must ensure they are contactable upon arrival and ready for pickup within the agreed timeframe. Failure to maintain communication may result in extended waiting charges or cancellation of the booking.
6. Amendments and Acceptance
By booking with Hitch a Ride, passengers agree to these terms and conditions. Hitch a Ride reserves the right to amend these terms at any time without prior notice.
