Starting at midday on Friday 30th October, your happy haunts are invited to visit our spooky Trick or Treat Train for some friendly Halloween fun!

Some of our offerings include:

🧟‍♂️ Deadly Dance Party every hour!

📚 Spooky Story Readings in our Halloween carriages

🎃 Trick or Treat Trail aboard the Halloween Train

🖌 Face Painting and Crafts

🧙‍♀️ Costume Contest- free for every child with a ticket!

Entry for this limited event is only £3 per child. Adults are free, but must be accompanied by a child! Wristbands will be available to purchase on the day from our Booking Office / Shop.

*Please note that there are no train rides as part of this experience.

Help us bring some Christmas magic to life at the Chasewater Railway.

This Christmas, we’re inviting businesses and organisations to join us in creating a truly special experience for children and their families who have been treated and are under the care of the hospital trusts in the West Midlands

On 21st & 22nd November 2026, Chasewater Railway will welcome families aboard our heritage Christmas trains, giving children and their familes the chance to leave the hospital experience behind for a little while, meet Santa and enjoy a magical Christmas adventure with their loved ones. ❤️

Our Christmas NHS Santa trains are all about creating happy memories, bringing families together and giving children something wonderful to look forward to.

We’re looking for sponsors and local businesses to help us make this year’s Christmas trains even more memorable and bring a little extra joy to families who are going through difficult times.

Our volunteers are providing the trains and we have even been assured Santa is coming early but as a charity ourselves our resources are limited and any assistance with help us provide presents and the extra ‘Christmas trimmings’ for all the children and families to put the cherry on the top of that Christmas cheer.

If you work with a paediatric or children’s unit at a local hospital or children’s hospice and you would like to attend feel free to let us know and we will do our best to accommodate your patients. We are working with the NHS Acute Trusts across the West Midlands but we wouldn’t want to miss anyone out.

Something wicked is stirring at Chasewater Railway this Halloween, our haunted steam train returns from the shadows as the Phantom Flyer. 🚂💀

Prepare for two frightfully eerie evenings of steam, screams, spooky surprises and Halloween mayhem! But beware… once you step aboard, there may be no turning back. 👀

And the terror doesn’t end at the station… venture into our scare maze, listen to our chilling ghost stories and bring the little ghouls along for our daytime Mini Monster Mash! 🧟‍♀️🕷️
