Paul has always been fine since his minor set back, Licensing just enforced there ridiculous rule that kept him away form cabbing.
Well as of today, Paul Saunders is back, ready to entertain with his humour to other road users 🤣🤣

Lovely message from Pete! Thanks mate! Yes, back after 12 months but with a few changes. Trying to drive anywhere in Bury drives me crazy. The place is at a standstill most of the time! I'll be concentrating on out-of-town stuff with airports etc. Not forgetting all those regulars who have remained in touch throughout this 12 months, we'll be looking out for you!

Since i left reluctanty, things have become quiet
Paul will be back in October, fresh and well.
David unfortunetley for the time being still has to scaffold

Time to put the record straight. Pete has moved on and it has only taken 3 days for the misinformed masses to accelerate that into David and I closing the business. We're not! If there's anything you need to know, ask us, don't make it up as you go along.
Ok, to the future. Things change daily and who can say what will happen in 6 months. The cab business gets harder all the time. Money is less freely available and our costs are rising steeply, people are finding cheaper ways of travelling longer distances. Yes, the format of the company is certain to change, but it will be for the better. Patience is the key, but please, if you need to book a car, ring us. Daytime is difficult, but evenings and weekends can often be accommodated.
Thank you all for your past loyalty and we've made many friends over those 10 years.

This is a very hard thing to post, with a very heavy heart i have to say that i have left 247 Cars, it wasnt taken lightly and it was something i never wanted to do, it is financial reasons only, i have met so many wonderful people in my time, lots still are regulars, but my bank said no.
I want to say that working with Dave from the get go was brilliant, he is such an easy man to get on with, then Paul, heart of gold, i would hope you will still call them, they may not answer but please dont give in.
Dave and Paul, i wish you happiness and wealth, i will miss you both, and too the many i have met, take care of yourselves.

Hello all! We're still here! Short staffed temporarily, but doing our absolute best to cater for customers old and new. Summer's here and we hope you're all making the most of it. The UK doesn't get the long, hot summers of the past but the few days we do get are there to make the best of.
No fare increase yet, and don't forget we accept Suffolk County Council Travel Vouchers.
We'd love to thank you for the years of support and hoping to see you all again!

Hello! School holidays are a few days away, so if you've a holiday booked, talk to us about your airport transfers. From 29th August the London ULEZ charge will apply to Heathrow and London City airports, so now is the time to make your booking. For anything booked with us now, this charge won't be passed on until necessary. Our prices include ALL fees for both Dropoff and Pickup, 24 hours a day.
Local and Long Distance are welcome, as are railway stations, ferries and seaports.

Have you heard of the Suffolk Travel Voucher Scheme?
If you know anyone of pensionable age please mention the scheme to them. It's run by Suffolk County Council and for people who are unable to use the free bus pass it can be traded for Travel Vouchers and used to pay taxi fares. Just Google "Suffolk Travel Voucher Scheme" and you can find out all about it. There are now only 2 companies in Bury St Edmunds who accept them and 247 Cars is one of them.
With the arrival of Summer comes thoughts of holidays. Talk to us about your airport transfer. Sadiq Khan, Mayor of London, has decided to extend his Ultra Low Emmission Zone to the M25. That means London City and Heathrow will both be in the Zone, and for you, that means a £15 Surcharge on fares to pay the ULEZ fee.
Good news! Although the charge is due to start in September, we won't charge it until the end of the 2023 Holiday Season at the start of November. Our airport fares include ALL fees and charges applicable to your journey.

Hello all our customers old and new!
Everyone is going through very difficult times. Money is short, overheads are high. Let's see if we can help. Holiday season is upon us and that means airport journeys. Heathrow will soon be inside the Londin Ultra Low Emission Zone, and that means cab fares go up! We currently charge £165 Bury to Heathrow, same for the return and that price has been held for 4 years.
Stansted is £90 and that includes the drop off/pickup fee.
Time to book your cab while we still have availability!

Booking a cab in Bury is becoming increasingly difficult as drivers go and they can't be replaced.
Every day we have cars available from 0915 to 1300. Why not full time? School runs. Every cab does a school run. We can often supply a car outside these times so it's always worth ringing.
Remember we accept Suffolk Transport Vouchers.
