So here we are…..14 years later!

In 2008 my 30+ year career in the paper manufacturing industry came to an end
My, then career, had taken me to many amazing parts of the world.

Then in 2009, we created our business - Concierge Couriers Ltd
A courier company specialising in the use of motorcycles to transport items around the UK and to Europe.
Over these years, there have been many roads (no pun intended!?) we’ve taken with the business.
We even run our own van these days, in addition to the motorcycles
Like most, these last 2, or so, years have been quite extraordinary, with ‘change’ being the constant denominator.
To where we are now, financial crisis, again!

These next 18 months to 2 years are definitely going to be quite significant for us.
At the moment we are seeing greater stability with our current customers and experiencing reasonable growth.
We’re taking the business ‘a’ direction - I say ‘a’ direction, as you never truly know until you’re down that road again.

As for the significance of the picture ……‘Kings Avenue’ - it's the road to The Royal Studs, Sandringham. .
Never ever thought when we set out on this (business) adventure that we would have such an ‘entity’ as a regular customer.

Keep going down that road folks, there are many turns and crossroad ahead……

Saturday evening urgent delivery to Addenbrooke's Hospital Level 6 Microbiological Dept - all samples were "you know what's" !!
Please heed the advice of social distancing, washing hands etc, etc.....

Getting prepared.....
A customer has called asking us if we can deliver 21 covid-19 test kits to a ship that will berth in Swansea docks around 20:00 this evening. We are then to wait while the crew make the tests themselves and then return the swabs directly to labs near Leicester.

Evening all, just to let you know we'll be doing our best to stay within the rules over this Easter Weekend. However, we are booked for a couple of collection / deliveries tomorrow (Friday).
We are also on call for PHE (generally out of hours) - so if you see a motorcycle or van going in between local hospitals please don't get too upset - we're doing what we can!!.
PS - we're down at the allotment in-between times :-)
Stay safe folks, the warnings are there for a reason - I know I've seen them !
