We note a number of parents have still not purchased tickets, despite the deadline of 26th August now having passed.

As explained in our recent email, NO TICKET, NO TRAVEL. All children must have a valid ticket in order to travel on the coach, as this is required for insurance purposes.

Please ensure that your child has a valid ticket before attempting to board the coach tomorrow morning. If your child has a staggered start to the school term, please ensure that you have purchased a ticket for the specific day they will be travelling.

If you have already purchased your child’s ticket, please disregard this reminder.

Reminder of the roadworks starting tomorrow at the Market Hall. From Wednesday, 2nd September there will be a temporary pick up point for those children who usually board at West Tower Street. Please refer to the email we sent to you.

Route IOD03 Coach 1 to Nelson Thomlinson

As there will be ongoing roadworks taking place at West Tower Street from 1st September to November, we will not be picking up outside the Market Hall. Instead please can all children who usually board at the Market wait at the Civic Centre at the usual time. We will collect children there before heading out on the usual route. Please share.

🚧 Carlisle Market Hall Bus Hub Regeneration starts 1 September 🚧

Work is about to begin on improvements to the Carlisle Market Hall Bus Hub, creating a more welcoming, accessible and attractive gateway to the city centre.

✅ Market Hall businesses will remain open throughout the works
✅ No road closures are required as part of this phase
✅ Access to Market Hall will continue via Scotch Street and Fisher Street
✅ Bus services will operate from temporary stops on Lowther Street and Drovers Lane
✅ The upgraded bus hub is expected to reopen by the end of November, in time for the busy Christmas period

If you're using the Fisher Street entrance, please enter via TK Maxx, take the escalator and then the stairs to access Market Hall.
