Heatwave Update ☀️

With high temperatures already present across the UK, there may be some disruption to pallet deliveries as the transport network adapts to the conditions, and we take steps to keep our drivers and colleagues safe.

If you're planning to reduce or pause dispatches, or your opening hours are changing, please let our team know as soon as possible.

Please remember that our storage and distribution network is ambient only – our vehicles, hubs and warehouses are not temperature-controlled. We cannot accept liability for goods that perish, melt or are otherwise damaged as a result of the extreme heat, so please consider this before shipping any temperature-sensitive products.

Most importantly, stay safe in the heat. Keep hydrated, take regular breaks where possible, and look out for one another – whether you're on the road, in the warehouse, or enjoying the sunshine.

We hope everyone had a great Father's Day and enjoyed making the most of the Summer Solstice, whether that meant spending time with family, getting outdoors, or simply enjoying the longer evening.

Not one. Not two. But three new additions to the C & D South West Ltd fleet 🚛🚛🚛

We are delighted to welcome YYT, YYL and VBZ – three brand-new 18-tonne DAF LF 260 rigids – as the latest vehicles to join our operation.

This investment reflects our ongoing commitment to maintaining a modern, efficient, and reliable fleet, ensuring we continue to provide the high standards of service our customers have come to expect. As the business continues to grow and evolve, investing in quality equipment remains a key part of our long-term plans.

13 years on, and still going strong 🚛

Today we’re celebrating 13 years of CHF, our trusted DAF LF training vehicle. Over the years, it has played an important role in helping drivers gain valuable experience and develop their skills behind the wheel.

While much has changed in the industry during that time, CHF has remained a dependable part of the fleet and continues to serve an important purpose within the business.

A true workhorse and a vehicle with plenty of history behind it – here’s to 13 years of reliable service and many miles travelled. 🚛
