We had a fantastic time at Chard Carnival last weekend! 🎭🚛

It was brilliant to see the town buzzing with excitement and to be part of another fantastic community celebration. We’re proud to continue supporting the local events that bring people together and make the carnival season so special.

Next up, we’re heading to Taunton Carnival this Saturday! We’re looking forward to another great evening, plenty of carnival spirit and seeing everyone out enjoying the celebrations. 🎉

It’s a real shame that Ilminster Carnival had to be cancelled. We hope everyone involved is okay and that the decision was made with everyone’s safety in mind. 🎭🚛

While we didn’t get the chance to enjoy Ilminster Carnival, the carnival season continues this Saturday as we head to both Chard Carnival and Chard Children’s Carnival!

We’re looking forward to supporting both events and hopefully enjoying another fantastic weekend of carnival celebrations with the local community. 🎉

A decade on the road is certainly something worth celebrating! AXZ has officially been part of the C & D South West fleet for 10 years, covering countless miles, completing plenty of journeys and playing an important role in keeping our operation moving.

Over the past 10 years, AXZ has been out on the road through all seasons and all conditions, becoming a familiar part of our fleet along the way. It’s another great milestone for us and a reminder of the vehicles, people and hard work behind everything we do.

Meet Our Lead Drivers! ✨

Our drivers are at the heart of everything we do at C & D South West, and today we’re proud to introduce our two lead drivers who help support our driving team.

Nick is our daytime lead driver, and oversees our daytime driving team. You'll find him behind the wheel of AHC, our shiny 75-plate tractor unit, which he uses each day to move your consignments all over the South West. 📦

Steve heads up our night trunking operations, coordinating the nightly runs to the Palletforce SuperHub in Burton-on-Trent, using our fleet of brand new next-generation DAF XFs. Thanks to Steve and the night operations team, your freight is seamlessly connected into the wider network, ready to move across the UK by morning. 🚛

Thank you to our excellent lead drivers Nick and Steve for helping keep our operations moving!
