Following recent media reports regarding taxi inspection failures, we’d like to reassure all our customers that this article does not involve Cupar Taxis.

We are proud to confirm that all Cupar Taxis vehicles once again passed their inspections first time ✅

At Cupar Taxis, passenger safety and vehicle standards are taken extremely seriously, and we continue to meet the high standards expected of licensed operators.

We also feel it would be far fairer for those operators who repeatedly fail inspections to be identified directly by Fife Council, rather than allowing the reputation of the wider taxi trade to be unfairly tarnished.

Taxi operators slammed after ‘shocking’ inspection failure results

🚖 FARE UPDATE NOTICE – EFFECTIVE TOMORROW 🚖

Please note that from tomorrow, 25th May 2026, new taxi fares set by Fife Council will come into effect across all licensed Fife Council taxis, including Cupar Taxis.

The updated tariff applies to all metered journeys throughout Fife and includes revised day, night and holiday rates.

We appreciate your understanding and continued support as these council-approved changes are introduced.
