With the upcoming heatwave, we kindly encourage everyone to carry a bottle of when travelling.

Staying hydrated is especially important during periods of hot weather, as high temperatures can affect your wellbeing more quickly than you might expect.

We also ask that you keep an eye out for those around you, particularly people who may be more vulnerable to the heat, such as older adults, young children and those with underlying health conditions. A small act of , such as checking in on someone or offering assistance if needed, can make a real difference.

Please take care, stay cool and help us look after one another during the hot weather.

If you were born in 1960 or earlier, you may be eligible for a free concessionary bus pass, or it could be time to check whether your current pass needs renewing.

With the cost of living continuing to rise, free off-peak bus travel can make a real difference. Whether you're visiting friends, exploring somewhere new, or simply getting out and about, a bus pass helps you save money while staying connected.

For many people, bus journeys are about much more than travel. They provide opportunities to meet others, reduce isolation and enjoy greater independence.

In England, anyone who has reached State Pension age may benefit from free off-peak travel on local bus services nationwide. This includes travel between 9:30am and 11pm on weekdays, as well as all day on weekends and bank holidays.

And when spending time with the grandchildren, up to two children under the age of five can travel with you free of charge.

Emma started her journey with over 10 years ago as a and today she manages our bus drivers, supervisors and cleaning teams... over 100 people who help keep Fastrack moving every single day.

As well as keeping operations running smoothly, Emma also represents Fastrack at community events, so if you do spot her out and about on the network, be sure to say hi! 😃
