Another new customer choosing JJ’s Private Hire! ✈️🚖

Today we had the pleasure of taking another new customer to Norwich Airport after they found us on Facebook.

They told us they’d seen all the recommendations, reviews and positive comments about our airport transfers, and that gave them the confidence to book with us. Thank you to everyone who recommends and supports our family business – it really does make a difference.

As always, our driver arrived in plenty of time, ready for a relaxed and stress-free journey to the airport.

With temperatures well over 30°C today, the car was already waiting with the air conditioning running. As soon as our customers got in, their first words were:

“Wow, the air conditioning is brilliant! What car is this?”

The answer… one of our Skoda Octavias.

Whilst most people were still asleep this morning, Michael was already on the road for a 3:30am collection, taking our customers to Norwich Airport for their early morning flight.

It wasn’t a long-distance journey, but when you’re catching a flight, reliability matters just as much as the journey itself.

As promised, Michael arrived on time, helped our passengers get underway, and provided a smooth, comfortable journey to Norwich Airport, arriving with plenty of time to spare before check-in.

A few weeks ago, we lost a long-standing customer to another operator over a small difference in price.

We completely understand. In the current climate, every pound counts and everyone wants value for money.

However, this Saturday, around 30 minutes after they should have been collected, we received a phone call from that same customer asking if we could help. Unfortunately, the vehicle they had booked had not arrived.

Despite the short notice, we rearranged our schedule and got them to their destination safely.

Following Saturday’s experience, they have since moved all of their regular transport back to JJ’s Private Hire.

Their comment was simple:

“Saving a few pounds isn’t much use if nobody turns up.”

This isn’t the first time we’ve received a call like that, and it probably won’t be the last.

Over the years, we’ve regularly helped customers who have found themselves let down at the last minute after booking elsewhere. Whenever possible, we’ll always do our best to help because nobody deserves to be left stranded.

One thing that makes JJ’s Private Hire different is that every booking is carried out by our own team using our own vehicles.

We don’t subcontract bookings to other operators, and we don’t rely on third parties to fulfil our journeys.

The vehicle that arrives is one of our vehicles. The driver who arrives is one of our drivers. The booking is managed by our team from start to finish.

Because of that, we only accept bookings that we know we have the drivers and vehicles available to fulfil.

For us, a booking isn’t simply a request on a screen.

It’s a commitment.

When somebody books an airport transfer, a hospital appointment, a shopping trip, a business meeting or simply a journey home, they’re relying on us to be there. We take that responsibility seriously.

After a busy Friday and Saturday filled with weddings, airport transfers, and helping our customers get where they needed to be, our drivers enjoyed a well-earned break on Father’s Day to spend some quality time with their families.

💒 Wedding Transport Today 💒

One of three weddings we’re helping with today!

For this wedding, we provided two 8-seat minibuses to transport guests from the church to the reception venue, set within a truly beautiful countryside location. Our drivers ensured everyone arrived comfortably, safely, and on time, allowing guests to relax and enjoy the celebrations.

We’ll be returning later this evening to collect guests and take them safely to their hotels after the wedding has finished, ensuring the day ends just as smoothly as it began.

Norwich Airport Collection ✔️

This morning, our driver Michael set off for a collection at Norwich Airport. Arriving with plenty of time to spare, he kept in great communication with our customer and was ready and waiting to welcome them home after their week away.

No sooner had the airport run been completed than it was a quick vehicle swap for Michael before heading off for a busy day ahead, including wedding transport.
