🚕💙 WHERE IS BIG BLUE? 💙🚕

I’ve finally had a very special wildlife encounter… and not just one, but THREE majestic white stags! 🤍🦌🤍🦌🤍🦌

But enough about the deer… where is Big Blue on a pickup this evening? 👀

Here are a couple of clues:

🌳 We’re somewhere with a rather impressive historic estate and plenty of beautiful Dorset countryside.

🦌 It’s also home to some very distinctive residents with antlers… although they’re considerably less likely to give you a taxi fare! 😂

📌 A little diary update from Big Blue & me! 🚕💙

After a VERY busy year so far, I’ve realised I’ve forgotten to book in one rather important passenger… ME! 😂

I haven’t had any holiday time yet this year, and as much as I love what I do, even taxi drivers need to switch off, recharge and spend some proper time with family. ❤️

So please pop these dates in your diary:

🌿 18th–21st September — CLOSED
🎄 24th–27th December — CLOSED

Big Blue and I will be having a well-earned rest 😴

The rest of the year is business as usual, and advance bookings are always welcome — especially for those important journeys.

🚕💙 Almost through the Bank Holiday booking madness! 😂

Big Blue has been here, there and everywhere this weekend… airports, parties, weddings, local journeys and plenty of miles!

But one of the perks of being a local taxi driver is the unexpected gifts from lovely customers… and today I’ve been rewarded with THREE GINORMOUS home-grown courgettes! 💚🥒😂

I’m not entirely sure whether I’ve been paid in vegetables or whether my passenger is subtly telling me I need to eat more healthily… 🤣

Either way, thank you! 💚

Now… anyone got any good courgette recipes?! 😂🥒🍽️

😂🚨 I don’t know who needs to hear this… but the kids go back to school in a few days. 🚨😂

So enjoy the last few days of pretending you’ve got your life together… because the school run, packed lunches, lost shoes and “MUMMMM!” are about to make their triumphant return. 🎒🤣

We’ve been clocking up the miles with trips to Heathrow, Gatwick, Bristol and, of course, Bournemouth Airport, alongside plenty of local journeys getting people to and from work, train stations, weddings, parties, nights out and everything in between! ✈️🚉🥂

🧋💙 Quick Bubble Tea stop!

When you’re out and about in Dorchester and spot an excuse for a little treat… obviously you have to take it! 😂

I popped into one of my favourite little places, Pastel Tuesdays on Maud Road. My usual go-to is a Lychee Fruit Tea with Aloe Vera pieces — absolutely delicious! 🧋😋

If you fancy trying their Bubble Tea or having a browse around their gorgeous little shop, go and give them a visit. They’ve got some lovely things in there too!

Supporting another little independent local business while keeping myself fuelled… it would be rude not to! 💙

😂 When you get a last-minute pickup…

…and suddenly you realise you need to remember the entire address because apparently writing things down while driving is frowned upon. 🚕📱😂

So now you’re doing the mental equivalent of:

“Number… street… postcode… repeat… repeat… REPEAT!” 🧠💥

All while praying your brain doesn’t decide to factory reset before you arrive. 🤣

Beautiful views over The Fleet and Abbotsbury, sunshine, a gorgeous stretch of the Dorset coast…

…and then I spotted an ice cream van. 🍦😂

Obviously, it would have been extremely rude not to stop. It would basically be bad manners. 🤷‍♀️😂

Sometimes the best part of the job is the little detours… especially when they involve ice cream! 💙🚕🍦
