This week, we've been at The Health & Safety Event, at the NEC in Birmingham. The event, which is dedicated to improving occupational health and safety standards is a great way for professionals to come together, share best practices and explore the latest innovations and trends in the sector.

This year, in partnership with the National Highways Driving for Better Business campaign, a Driver Safety Zone has been created, to share vital information and resources with safety professionals who have responsibility for work-related road risk.

In a survey of more than 2,000 drivers, by road safety charity IAM RoadSmart, 26% of respondents felt it was acceptable to drive when they may have drunk too much alcohol, and 24% would drive after using cannabis.
